1975 Longines Automatic Ultra-Chron Crosshair Calendar.
An absolutely iconic vintage Longines from1975. The Ultra-Chron series represented the pinnacle of precision engineering and watchmaking technology when it was introduced, establishing a new benchmark for the accuracy of mechanical movements within the industry, boasting a "guaranteed accurate to a minute a month" in their ads. Obviously not the case anymore for a nearly 50 year old watch, but still a wonderful piece of horological history. The piece features a stainless steel cushion case, matte gray crosshair dial, retro applied indices, baton hands, date window, original signed crown, domed acrylic crystal, and original steel rice grain bracelet with adjustable signed clasp.

Movement: Longines Automatic Cal. 6651 -- serviced by previous owner. Running well within +11 seconds per day. Although running well, service history is unknown and we always recommend you get your vintage timepiece a service from a professional watchsmith for optimal long term performance.
In excellent condition. Light wear consistent with age. Crystal is clean. Original rice grain bracelet is in excellent condition - only real blemish is the missing/damaged grain on the bottom piece, it's small and not noticeable on wrist. It is good for daily use.
